"Lacey" is a 15.1 H daughter of Congress Champion & World Champion sire, Iota Invest.  Her maternal line is full of proven show horses and proven producers.  Lacey has a beautiful, baby doll head and excellent conformation.  She is a very fancy-looking mare that has the movement to be a very successful show mare and broodmare.  She was shown in open shows by a teenage girl in 2005 in Western Pleasure.  When you ride her, she is just as smooth as you could ask for.  Plus, this mare has a very sweet and loving disposition.  She puts a beautiful head on her babies and a soft jog and lope.

UPDATE: BACK TO THE SHOW PEN!! She's been shown in open shows and 1 AQHA show this summer to get back into shape and to try new events. In her first attempt in Trail, she took 2nd place out of 11 entries! In addtion to what she already is doing, we hope to add Showmanship to her resume soon. Ideally, she will become a youth horse for my sons next year.

2009 AQHA Bay Filly by Zhip. 


Photo in September 2011 (as a 2 yr old) with new owner, Lori Brase-Hetze. This filly started her show career in the fall of 2011. Her owner wrote about her first show:
"Just wanted to let you know Maddi made her w/t debut yesterday and was really good in a big turnout open show.  It was raining so we were all crowded inside.  Maddi was unfazed by all the commotion and kept it together like a broke horse. She was pretty solid for a two and placed 5th twice in classes of about 10 against well seasoned horses including Courtney’s POA that just rocked the world at the Reichert and Internationals.  She’s a doll!  It’s always hard to go the first time with the young ones but she sure made it easy."
