Show Horses

These are photos of some of our show horses - present and past.   We enjoy getting out to show our horses and prove their ability.  We enjoy making this a family event, so we've also included the family horses, too.  We also have included foals that we have produced or horses we have trained that have gone on to do well in the show pen with their new owners.

Iota Be A Superstar (Zhip X Iota Win Alotta)
Words from new owner, Lori Braze-Hetze: "Just wanted to let you know Maddi made her w/t debut yesterday and was really good in a big turnout open show.  It was raining so we were all crowded inside.  Maddi was unfazed by all the commotion and kept it together like a broke horse. She was pretty solid for a two and placed 5th twice in classes of about 10 against well seasoned horses including Courtney’s POA that just rocked the world at the Reichert and Internationals.  She’s a doll!  It’s always hard to go the first time with the young ones but she sure made it easy."

Iota Win Alotta (Iota Invest X Gotta Win Lotta) 2001 AQHA Sorrel Mare being shown in 2011 and being prepped to show as a youth horse in 2012. "Lacey" is shown here in AQHA Aged Mares by Amber Kolousek in June 2011.

My Assets Are Gold - 2010 AQHA Palomino Gelding - Reinvest In Gold X Heavens Im Good - shown on August 7, 2011 in the Yearling Longe Line class at AAHA in Aberdeen, SD. Exhibited by Amber Kolousek.

Chips Last Legacy - 2009 AQHA Bay Stallion sired by Zhip and out of AJ Isle (a mare we used to own).  We are the breeders listed on this colt's papers and he is now owned by Katie Decker of Huron, SD.  He was the CONQHA Longe-Line Futurity Champion and took 2nd at the AQHA Regional Championship in Rapid City, SD.  He has also the High-Point Longe-Liner and Circuit Champion. Congratulations to Katie and we look forward to seeing more from this colt soon!

Zippo Made Me Good (Zhip X Heavens Im Good) being shown by new owner, Jamie Herigstad of Montana.  She purchased him in the spring of 2009 and started prepping him for LL events.  Shown locally during the summer, taking several 1st and 2nd placings.

Update on August 31, 2009: AQHA Fall Classic on Bozeman, MT: Yearling Triathlon; 2nd place overall; event placings: Halter - 2nd; Longe-Line - two 1sts and a 2nd; in-hand trail - 3rd and 4th.

Jamie writes:
"First off, I can't put into words how much I've enjoyed him.  He is just a great guy.  We do really well in longe line, usually 1st or 2nd; he is a beautiful mover."

Girls Luv Chocolate (Zhip X AJ Isle) was shown in Yearling Longe-Line ~ she won her class the first time out.  Later on, she was sold to Canada.
