Show Horses

These are photos of some of our show horses - present and past.   We enjoy getting out to show our horses and prove their ability.  We enjoy making this a family event, so we've also included the family horses, too.  We also have included foals that we have produced or horses we have trained that have gone on to do well in the show pen with their new owners.

Zippo Made Me Good (Zhip X Heavens Im Good) being shown by new owner, Jamie Herigstad of Montana.  She purchased him in the spring of 2009 and started prepping him for LL events.  Shown locally during the summer, taking several 1st and 2nd placings.

Update on August 31, 2009: AQHA Fall Classic on Bozeman, MT: Yearling Triathlon; 2nd place overall; event placings: Halter - 2nd; Longe-Line - two 1sts and a 2nd; in-hand trail - 3rd and 4th.

Jamie writes:
"First off, I can't put into words how much I've enjoyed him.  He is just a great guy.  We do really well in longe line, usually 1st or 2nd; he is a beautiful mover."

Girls Luv Chocolate (Zhip X AJ Isle) being shown in Yearling Longe-Line ~ she won her first time out.  Later on, she sold to Canada.

"Scotch's" owner, Barb Vial writes: "Well----would you believe Scotch now belongs to my 11 year old daughter?  We have been going to shows every weekend, and he is doing pretty well.  The two are quite a team, and he does better for her than anyone else!  Jessica is showing Scotch English, Western, and in trail."
