Welcome to Kolousek Farms!  Kolousek Farms is located SW of Wessington Springs, SD and is a ranch/farm operation with cattle, farmland and American Quarter Horses.  We are specializing in the high-quality Western Pleasure Horse that can also do All-Around events.

We strive to produce quality show horses on our family farm.  We are very proud of our horses and love to work with them on a daily basis.  All of our horses have the breeding of World Champions, World Champion Sires and Leading Sires because we believe in only producing high quality foals.  We want to produce horses that will go on to succeed in the show ring, on the trails and more.  That is why each broodmare is individually selected and bred to a stallion that will compliment her.  Our broodmares are own daughters of Invitation Only, Iota Invest, Good Asset and Kay Cee Leaguer.  We searched the country for the very best bloodlines and have shipped them in from all across the US to try to put together one of the best Western Pleasure broodmare bands in the area.  We are breeding with a purpose and we are passionate about what we do.

Each foal is handled from Day One and is taught to love and respect people.  Each broke horse is taught all the basics of ground manners before we ever get into the saddle.  We want to have a solid horse that anyone can go on to ride.  This one of the biggest bonuses of buying from a small farm like ourselves.  We think you'll find that we have excellent prospects and show horses for sale.  Please contact us if you are interested in any of our horses or a website of your own.
